1. How long is the party?

All parties** will last for 1 ½ hours (**Platinum Package/Rent out lasts for 2 hours). Time is allocated based on 50 min in the play area, and 40 min for pizza and cake. 

2. What are the expectations of the family hosting the birthday?

The party family needs to be on the premises for the duration of the party. Our play associate will help you set up, run the party, and clean up. 

3. Do my guest's parents have to stay at the party?

All children who are attending the party as guests must have a parent or guardian on the premises with them.

4. What if we want to stay in the party room longer than 1 1/2 hours?

Due to high demand, we cannot offer extended time in party rooms. You and your party guests must vacate the party room once the 1 ½  hours has elapsed.

Once 1 ½ hours has elapsed, your time in the party room is over; the host family and guests must vacate the party room. Please take all party items to your cars.

If anyone is staying in the play center after the party is over please be mindful of other customers. No cake, ice cream, presents, or other food from your party in the café area.

5. When does the party start?

The party starts, in the room, at the designated time you reserved it for, not when your guests arrive. Please ask your guests to arrive on time. We need to be able to adhere to the party schedule in order for everyone's parties to run smoothly and without delay.

6. Can we start the party late?

You may not start your party late. Your party starts at the time of reservation. If you would like, you can tell your guests to arrive 5-10 minutes earlier.

7. What time should I be at my own child's birthday party?

You should be at MLO no more than 30 minutes before your scheduled party, so you can meet with the party associate and make sure everything is set up how you want it. This also helps us give you the best experience possible.

8. What is in the party favor bags?

Party favor bags are filled with novelties such as wind-up toys, playing cards, small plush animals, sunglasses, crayons, coloring books, note pads, slap bracelets, etc. All of these party favors are for children 3 and over. Children under 2 receive special age appropriate toys. Toys change constantly so check with your party planner for details.

9. Can I bring decorations?

Yes. Please let us know if you plan on bringing decorations or other items before the party so our party associates can assist you better.

10. What is included in 'snacks and drinks?'

Snacks are based on items in stock. They can range from animal crackers, fruit snacks, apple sauce, etc. For drinks we have juice boxes in varying flavors. We can add any number of juice boxes and snacks per child at an additional cost.

11. How many slices are in a large pizza?                 

Each large pizza is cut into 10 slices. All of the food we offer for parties comes at a special discounted rate from our friends at Lucci's Pizza and Pasta, which is just down the street from our facility. 

12. How much food should I order for my guests?

Typically, a child 2 – 6 years old will eat 1 piece of pizza. If an adult eats they will typically eat 2 pieces of pizza. Around 20% of your adult guests will not eat at the party.

13. What if my child has a food allergy or dietary restriction?

In this case, we would of course make an exception and allow you to bring your own food from home for only the child(ren) with the food restriction.

14. What if I want something in addition to pizza?

You are able to order from a variety of other food such as Chicken Wings, Salad trays, Chicken Tenders, Veggie Trays, through us. There is a full Party Food Menu posted on the 'Party' page of this web site.

15. How many toppings can I order on a large pizza?

One topping per pizza.

16. Can I substitute my package's food for anything else?

We can substitute 2 large pizzas for bagels and cream cheese for morning parties only.

17. What if I don't know the exact number of children guests to the party?

An exact number of children and adults are not needed, but we'll need a rough estimate. It is better to overestimate than underestimate. Please get the rough estimate to our party planner at least 3 days before your scheduled party.  An official head count is done during the party at the sign in desk and in the party room by our staff.

18. Can I order additional food or make changes on the day of the party?

The last day to make changes is the Friday before your party. You cannot order more food the day of the party. All orders must go through MLO. Do not call Lucci's directly.

19. How do I reserve a party?

A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to make any party reservation at MLO. You can pay by cash, check, or credit card. Credit cards can be taken over the phone. 

20. What if I want to change a party date or time?

If you would like to switch your party to another date or time you will need to speak with a Manager. If space is available, the party will be moved to the desired time slot. A party can only be moved to another date if at least 2 week's notice is given.

21. When do I pay the final balance of the party?                                              

You must pay the balance due on the party by the end of the party.

22. What does the Party Associate do?

The party associate sets up your room before the party. Once you arrive, they will assist you with anything that pertains to running the party. Party associates can help you greet guests, get pitchers of water, tableware, ice, coffee, or anything else you need--just ask! If you would rather relax and let the party associate run the entire party that can also be arranged. Speak to a party planner before the party and come up with a plan that suits your needs.

23. I see that you offer entertainment such as balloon artists, magicians, and face painters for parties - how does that work?

We have many contracted entertainers we use for parties, including clowns, balloon artists, magicians and face painters. When you call to book your party, ask to speak with our manager, Todd, who schedules all entertainment. All entertainment must be scheduled through My Little Outback.
